KINTO JAPAN, from Japan to your table
From Japan to your table comes Kinto Japan. In Japanese mythology, the word Kinto represents a kind of flying cloud that can transport us at any time and to any place. And the truth is that there is nothing more inspiring, something that helps us get off the ground, than a good cup of coffee served in a beautiful and harmonious container.
We have fallen in love with the collections of this Japanese firm, one of the most prestigious in Japan. Kinto Japan seeks functionality in its designs, based on simple lines, and standing out above all in the meticulousness and perfection of the execution of each and every one of its pieces.
Its organic shapes, soft colours and warm textures contribute to help you live a whole experience around the world of tea and coffee. Here are our favourites:
CAST COLLECTION
Created under the concept of "design without interference" the pieces of the Cast collection by Kinto Japan are as simple as they are attractive and beautiful. The angle of the handle of the mugs is designed for ease of use so as to reduce the strain on the wrist when drinking by taking into account the change in the centre of gravity.
At the same time, the rim of the cup extends slightly outwards so that with a slight tilt the drink flows smoothly.
The cup's accompanying saucer is made of stainless steel, lending an elegant lightness to the whole.
The handcrafted manufacturing process means that the size and shape of the Cast pieces can vary from one to the next. Once again, a point in favour of the exclusivity of dressing up your home's "coffee corner" with Cast.
RIPPLE
OCT COLLECION
Comfort in use remains a strong point of Kinto Japan also in this collection. The handle of the cup looks sharp but is very comfortable to hold and the rim is thin but soft in the mouth.
An ideal collection to have on display as part of the decoration of a "japandi" style space, the latest trend in interior design that arises from the fusion of the Nordic and the Japanese. A minimalist style that is triumphing.
This is our selection of coffee or tea sets by Kinto Japan, which one do you prefer?
